Hello everyone,
We have oiled our new parquet floor with Woca Maintenance Oil.
However, after oiling, it appeared blotchy.
Accordingly, we cleaned it with Biofa Napona deep cleaner, now for the second time.
On the surface, there is no oil visible or noticeable (e.g., sticky). Nevertheless, the parquet remains blotchy.
A photo is attached.
So my question to you is whether anyone has had similar experiences and what can be done about it?
I have already been advised to oil it again, but I am skeptical.
Regards

How bad is it exactly? Do you have a photo where it can be clearly seen? Unfortunately, the one you uploaded is not very helpful.
Since the oil wears off over time, I would suggest just waiting before applying 15 more treatments and damaging the oil layer.Unfortunately, I can only photograph it against the window to make it visible.
It barely sticks anymore.
But visually, it looks bad.
Some floorboards are shiny, others are dull, as if they didn't absorb any oil.
I have actually considered leaving it as is to see if it fades naturally over time through wear.

The stains are only visible when you look at them from an angle against the light.
Can @KlaRa possibly still help? Response:
In the photo, it looks like the oil has been absorbed to varying degrees by different floorboards, as glossy and matte parquet surfaces can be seen.
I can only assume the following:
Properly oiled and buffed parquet surfaces (this process removes excess applied oil) do not appear glossy.
I believe this is the reason for the surface appearance, which, in my opinion, is unacceptable.

Answer:
The photo suggests that the oil has been absorbed unevenly across different floorboards, as you can see both glossy and matte parquet surfaces.
My assumption is the following:
Properly oiled and subsequently buffed parquet surfaces (this process removes excess applied oil) do not appear glossy.
I believe this explains the surface appearance, which I personally find unacceptable.

Regards, KlaRa Yes, that is likely the case. The question now is how to fix this condition. Based on what I have done and researched so far, my next step will be to use orange oil.
