Hello,
I am looking for recessed ceiling spotlights for my house. Unfortunately, there is no suspended ceiling, so traditional spotlights with clips cannot be installed.
Does anyone have an idea how to mount such spots without a suspended ceiling? Or any specific products for this purpose?

I would really appreciate your support.

Concrete ceilings are structural/supporting elements, so you must not do anything to them. Do not drill (100mm (4 inches))—how do you expect not to hit any rebar? No chasing either (they need electricity as well). Is it even your house, or is it rented?

Not at all.

Or completely remove it to create a dropped ceiling.

Would it basically work to use battens and then drywall? I'm currently thinking about how the battens would have to be fixed to the ceiling.

Good day, thank you for your reply. The building dates from the 1990s, and I am now looking for a solution because the old spotlights need to be replaced, and I cannot find current spotlights suitable for this type of construction.
Therefore, I appreciate any support!
