Hello everyone,
Our combined living, cooking, and dining area is unfortunately not very large (33 m² (355 sq ft)) and probably not ideally laid out either. What we regret most, however, is our short TV wall.

Do you have any ideas on how we could design this? I was thinking of adding a room divider next to the wall, but I’m not sure how or what, since there are also switches for the blinds and power outlets on that wall that I can’t block.
I would really appreciate any suggestions.
Best regards

The door in question is double-leaf.When I think about it... but that's not necessarily a deal-breaker. Of course, this means I can only open the other door partially.

I would have a floor-to-ceiling stud wall built about 80 cm (31.5 inches) away from the short wall and create a bookshelf in the gap…
Just like this, but with a single shelf… That would help solve the problem. If designed cleverly, you could even still access the switches.

Maybe you could, as shown in the picture, install a ceiling-mounted TV lift. Of course, this involves additional costs, but the TV would only be in the way when you are sitting on the couch anyway, and it could be slightly larger than the wall.
