Our house is covered with bitumen sheets.
We still have the application for their installation.
The material dates back to 1968 and was called Suprowall.
Unfortunately, a Google search didn’t return any results.
Is there an asbestos risk, or were natural fibers used in the product?
Can I safely remove and dispose of these sheets myself, or do I need to hire a professional company?

Google also indicates that the costs for a test range from about 35 to 120 euros, depending on how detailed the asbestos analysis needs to be ;-) I would definitely do this as a precaution if you don’t get a reliable positive statement.

Check "bitumen fiberboard," "bitumen cladding" (the latter also in the green forum), or this thread: https://www.hausbau-forum.de/threads/hausverkleidung-teerplatten-in-klinkeroptik.24686/#post-209617 – the material is probably made from Tyvek by DuPont.

Hello, we have a similar façade and want to demolish it. Did you carry out an asbestos test, or did you remove the façade yourself? How did you proceed? Thanks in advance.
