Hello everyone,
Christmas is approaching, and I would like to put up some small Christmas lights on our flat roof. However, the lights are designed to be secured with two ground stakes, which, of course, doesn’t work on a flat roof. So I thought about placing two plant pots on the roof, weighting them down with stones, and adding some soil on top. That way, I could stick the stakes into the plant pots and have some additional weight to hold them down.
What do you think about this approach? Is there a simpler/better/more cost-effective solution?
Thanks!
Best regards,

Hang something in the window. That would of course be one approach ;-) Unfortunately, the spikes are already integrated into the star, so it doesn’t look good hanging in the window... The “neck-breaking risk” is very low since the flat roof is large... Do you happen to have an idea on how you would place the “star with spikes” on the flat roof?
