Since I do a lot of manual work myself, I know how much good tools can help during the execution. I have had little experience with painting and plastering so far, but I will be doing these tasks myself. I have already bought a decent plastering tool set and wanted to know if there is also a good painting tool set? All those Amazon sets are okay for one room but not suitable for an entire house. Do you have a good manufacturer to recommend?

It was different in my case because some of the plaster is almost 60 years old and therefore no longer develops settlement cracks. Where necessary, I patched it up. Several walls are new drywall (like in the new guest bathroom) – and obviously painted right away without any painter’s fleece.

Bauenaberwie31 Oct 2022 08:52Hello, I’ve done some more research and wanted to ask if everything is correct. The goal is to prepare the ceiling and walls for decorative quartz. The joints of the precast ceiling panels will be sealed by the main contractor. This is the procedure I have gathered:
1. Remove all unevenness from the ceiling once
2. Prime the ceiling (primer)
3. Apply Knauf Multifinish
4. Level the ceiling
5. Sand
6. Repeat steps 3–5
7. Paint
For the walls, it’s basically the same. Have I missed anything?

I would actually prefer to use painter's fleece since it involves fewer steps. At least on the walls...ah ok thanks. Would that be the Knauf Betokontakt?Similar topics
