Hello Forum
Attached is our drainage plan.
Approximately 42m (138 feet) need to be excavated,
about 25m (82 feet) of main sewer pipe for wastewater has to be installed,
and about 41m (135 feet) of main pipe for rainwater drainage.
I have now received a fixed price quote. The company charges 900€ for this work, including the tightness test.
I wanted to do a rough calculation:
In total, I need about 66m (217 feet) of PVC main pipe with an internal diameter of 125mm (5 inches). One meter costs roughly 4.50€.
That comes to approximately 300€. Adding seals, branches, and bends, I’m estimating around 350€.
That leaves 550€ for excavation, pipe laying, and backfilling. What do you think, is that reasonable? To put it this way, if it should be possible to complete this work in one day—starting at 7:00 a.m. and finishing at 5:00 p.m.—I find an hourly labor rate of 55€/h a bit high, or am I mistaken?
Best regards

I can't really make much of the answer.
I actually think that the prices at DIY stores are set too high since professionals probably get better rates. And again: 55€/h for the installation was my question (including machines and tools) and nothing else, so the "DIY store prices" are already excluded?
Who has concrete experience?
