I don’t have any more hats left to take off to you… Aww, thanks 😀 well, I don’t know, our style is quite unique in places. See @Climbee 😀. But I don’t mind, as long as we like it. I’m just glad things are finally moving forward and we’re not doing absolutely everything ourselves.

But it’s your bathroom. If it makes you happy every morning in the shower, then you’ve done everything right. It’s definitely a very personal touch!
I wouldn’t choose to have it tiled like this myself (don’t take it personally, our taste isn’t for everyone either^^), but I can appreciate it very well. I find the scales truly mesmerizing and can imagine enjoying them for a long time. The color is refreshing and welcoming.

The size is 5 x 4 m (16 x 13 feet).
It has an under-roof awning, with each section controllable individually (by remote control) and spot lighting (also remote controlled), no vertical awning.
The material cost was about €12,000.
Measurement, order, and installation (including foundation, etc.) were handled by a former terrace builder for us, which then cost around €3,000. Two people completed the work in about 12 hours total.
Local providers and also KD Overdachung offered quotes around €29,xxx…
