ᐅ Gas Prices – Where Is Gas Still Affordable?

Good morning,

I just received a steep price increase from my energy provider enercity, raising the cost to 15 cents per kWh starting in August. That’s really tough, and I think prices will rise even further.

It’s a strange feeling to be thrown back so quickly into an energy supply situation where you have to figure out how to keep the house warm. It seems to me that the government has given up on the goal of enabling everyone to adequately cover at least their basic needs.

Goodbye central supply structures; now the winner is whoever has solar panels and a heat pump in their new build, while the others are left out.

Welcome back, coal heating 😕

Frustrated regards,

It’s not new that GPS does not work (accurately) for civilian users in times of crisis, as the satellites are occasionally "shifted" to provide, for example, higher resolution/accuracy for specific military areas.

Regarding the other nonsense, I won’t say much except that I certainly expect a lot from the Americans, and the USA did NOT get democracy served on a silver platter (but neither did we!)

And anyone who read my text carefully could only come away with a lot of prejudice if they thought I was specifically accusing anyone of sabotaging the pipelines. (I just re-read it again. And no, it does not say who I suspect, really not)
With some investment in dGPS, private users can also achieve centimeter-level accuracy. Is there any evidence for reduced accuracy?

"Selective Availability" was activated several times in the past, but satellites from the third generation onwards are supposed to no longer have this capability.
So I take back my previous statement on this! (My information was unfortunately outdated, sorry for that, I’m a bit old).

Intentional jamming of signals still doesn’t make as much sense today, considering alternatives to GPS, as it did back in the 1990s, but some experts don’t completely rule it out.

(at which time I was sitting in an unfamiliar city in the passenger seat with an external GPS receiver and a subnotebook, having to dig out maps again because the Iraq war led to GPS being unavailable)

But maybe it was Luise Neubauer after all.
I have reliable information that Robert Habeck went snorkeling in the Baltic Sea the day before yesterday. Whether he had a swim ring or a bomb belt around his waist was classified. But that already says quite a bit.

So, the gas leaks currently reported in the media were not caused by material fatigue or similar issues, but by deliberate human interference. The key term here is "sabotage." Now it’s only a matter of finding out who did it (guessing three times is allowed 😉 )

Each group will again senselessly connect their own theories and coincidences. You can already see that happening here. The verdict is practically decided in advance.

We will probably never truly find out.

It was probably also a coincidence that since last Friday the GPS systems have stopped working. At least the US and European satellites. Some had to be reprogrammed to Indian satellites.

Pardon? What exactly had to be “reprogrammed” to “Indian satellites”?! Come on... If that had actually happened, we would all have noticed. I really wonder where such nonsense is being shared—unbelievable.

The confidence with which you state this… 😎 you know what I mean?
