ᐅ Butt-jointed doors, approximate additional costs?

It will still be a while until the model viewing of our condominium, but for budget planning purposes, we would like to get an idea of the scale of costs we might expect:

(1) We would like to install flush-fitting doors with concealed hinges. The construction description includes doors with standard rebated door panels from JELD-WEN with a height of 2.36 m (7 ft 9 in). Could someone provide an approximate additional cost per door (that is, flush-fitting door leaf, matching frame, and concealed hinges) we should expect from the developer?

(2) Does anyone also have an approximate surcharge for a magnetic latch lock?

Through a developer? That’s a good question.
Actually, flush doors are usually cheaper because they are easier to manufacture. Unfortunately, they are rarely requested. I would estimate an additional cost of around €750 (about $825) per door through a developer. In online retail, it’s about €500 (around $550). These prices are for simple white doors.

P.S. I purchased my doors from Sapeli (Lotos model) at a specialist retailer. Each complete element (chipboard core) including stainless steel strips, Tectus concealed hinges, and magnetic latch lock costs around €550 for the set with the door frame. At this price, they are hand-painted rather than CPL or similar finishes.
Just for your information on prices in the Czech Republic, this might be an alternative for you. The supplier is Holzkontor Wenk in Ralbitz-Rosenthal (shipping was excellent). Installation costs are extra or can be done by yourself.

We requested quotes from three carpentry companies:
Plain flush installation approximately €1100 net
Concealed hinges and magnetic catch an additional approximately €200 net per door.

Door leaf and frame standard hollow core in white
If no keyhole, add another €20.

You can generally expect about €1350 net per door excluding installation.

Just to give you an idea of the prices in the Czech Republic. Might be an alternative for you. Dealer Holzkontor Wenk in Ralbitz-Rosenthal (shipping was top-notch). Installation costs extra or can be done as a DIY project.

I definitely need to check that out for this price 🙂
