Hello, does anyone have a price indication for installing large-format tiles measuring 1.20 x 2.78 m (4 x 9 ft) in a bathroom? A tiler is asking for 200 EUR/m2 (about $215 per sq ft) including adhesive just for the installation. All other work (drilling holes, sealing, etc.) is listed separately.

This is really just a rough estimate to help assess whether the offer is reasonable. Postal code area 5, Eifel region. Thank you very much!

Looks like textured wallpaper (SCNR)

I really do wish you well, but I would never spend that much money on it...

Hey, no hard feelings. I’m sure it looks much better in reality.
It might also be a matter of personal taste.

Our black subway tiles might actually cause nausea for some people here.

To be honest, when I opened the post, I was really hopeful... and then I saw it... and had exactly this thought:

@Tolentino’s post was actually on the next page. So @Tolentino, YMMD :p

Textured wallpaper doesn’t have to look bad. And it’s not waterproof either. Your mammoth tile is waterproof 😀

Hello, to provide another comparison price:

- €74.20 per square meter for the tiles (4 pieces)
- €79.00 per square meter for the installation work, excluding adhesive
