Hello,
Here, the water from one faucet smells musty, like pond water.

The pipes are plastic, and it is only the faucet in the bathroom.
The shower and kitchen are fine.

Greenbeck has also changed the water softening system regarding osmosis, but now it is happening again.

...and your expectation is that we consult our crystal ball?

No, but maybe there are people here who know the problem.

Is this the only fixture in this bathroom?
If not, then neither the system nor the supply line can be the issue.
Did this problem just occur suddenly? Has this tap point always been in use? Please describe the situation in more detail.

There is only this one faucet. Grünbeck has already modified the system because it is suspected that the water supplier adds chlorine, which the system also does, and you can taste it. However, neither the kitchen water nor the water from the fridge or the shower smells like the bathroom sink.

The water filter is also from Grünbeck with a cartridge inside (which I will be replacing soon).

We have noticed this for a while now; sometimes it’s stronger, sometimes less so. The laundry from the washing machine doesn’t smell like that.

The hot water heating is done via a transfer station using district heating (water).

You’re still speaking in riddles. And now it smells from the sink? Sorry, I’m out.

Could it simply be that the drain is smelling?
