we are considering using the cast flooring from Senso. We really like the look and feel of the floor. However, we are interested in everyday experiences, especially regarding its sensitivity.
Additionally, we want to have the bathrooms, including the walls, done by Senso. If anyone has this: Is it really as low-maintenance as promised? Have there been any issues with waterproofing?

Costruttrice2 Sep 2022 18:07Unfortunately, I can't share any experience yet, as the construction has been delayed and everything is progressing at a very slow pace. However, we have continued planning the floor, including the bathrooms.

Which Senso floor type are you planning to use, and what made you choose it? We are just starting to explore Senso floors and are unsure what to expect. If it’s made of plastic, won’t it become brittle over time? I haven’t found any information yet about the exact lifespan of Senso.

It is made from a biopolymer, essentially a “bio” plastic. I can’t comment on its durability yet. However, it can be sanded down and resealed or repaired if needed, though they told us this would only be necessary after several years or if there was significant damage.
It’s best to visit a showroom or ask for references, as there are various commercial spaces where this flooring is installed.
