marienschatten14 Aug 2022 07:28I have a house roof with a 32° pitch, on which 12 solar panels will be installed. In photo 1, you can see the roof. On the right and left sides of the chimney, 6 panels each are to be mounted in two rows. The second photo shows my neighbor’s roof. I want the arrangement to be the same for my roof.
The panel dimensions: Length: 1722 mm (68 inches), Width: 1134 mm (45 inches), Height: 30 mm (1.2 inches). The model number is JA Solar JAM54S-30-405-MR-BF 405 W mono.
Which mounting brackets do I need for this roof and these panels? How many of each type?
There are many different hooks offered online; which ones are suitable?

Thanks for all the contributions! You’re welcome. This is a home construction forum, not a DIY forum. By the way, the modules are usually not installed directly on the roof but mounted on a substructure, which depends on the roof type. What kind of substructure have you chosen?
In the installation manual for the modules, you can find information on different mounting types.

You can calculate/design the substructure, for example, using the K2 Planner.

The most important question is, why so few modules? That's true, I didn't even mention that. It's under 5 kWp. Why not fully cover both sides? You're doing it cheaply with your own labor anyway, right?
