nullhornHello everyone,
I am currently in the final stages of planning the kitchen for my new build.
Since I don’t have much space, I’m looking for a built-in refrigerator with an ice cube function that is 60 to a maximum of 70 cm (24 to 28 inches) wide. In terms of depth, it should not be deeper than the standard 60 cm (24 inches). Whether the appliance has a freezer compartment or not is not important, as I already have an additional freezer.
I know such a device usually doesn’t exist, but maybe someone knows more—I haven’t found anything.
I would really appreciate any tips on appliances.
Best regards,
Flo

Refrigerator with ice cube function I can still ask what you mean by that. Because there is also the function with the internal plastic drawer that rotates.
If you mean the external automatic dispenser in the door, then you are probably right that it doesn’t exist. The automatic dispenser and water container protrude too much into the depth of the door for it to still be called (built-in) refrigerator 😉

...there is also the function of the internal plastic drawer with a swivel mechanism...I’m not familiar with that either, can you show me an example??? For me, direct access to ice cubes isn’t that important; what matters is that there are always some available.

Having ice cubes always available depends on whether you consistently pour water into whatever container you’re using.
We have this one; it came with our Samsung and now with our Haier (we only need ice occasionally and are not heavy cold drink consumers).
