Hello, we really like paved paths and surfaces. We already have them. However, what really bothers us is how quickly the joints fill with persistent weeds, and after 16 years, the algae growth (circular patches) has become unattractive. This algae is very firmly attached and can hardly be completely removed anymore.
My question is: Are there any recent developments to control both issues? Otherwise, what would be an alternative to paving? It should definitely be durable and low-maintenance, as the areas are large. Best regards, Steffi33.

Weed, however, is the best choice for that. 😀 😀It's like with animals: the weed chose me, not the other way around. 😀

Bertram10013 Jul 2022 09:20Yesterday, our newspaper suggested that it’s actually a good idea to let some weeds grow on the terrace as a mini cooling system, which also helps reduce heat radiation from the terrace.
So, by accident, I did everything right. 😀

Yesterday, our newspaper reported that it is advised, Hello Bertram
Today’s journalists are mostly untrained green voters, strictly guided in their perspective.
Anyone who does not report in line with the government does not receive assignments and therefore no payment.
Currently, the narrative is that the energy crisis is not caused by the politicians in power but by (the new buzzword for winter) the energy wasters.
Read the newspaper as it was common in the GDR: between the lines.
