Hello everyone,
this thread is about current offers/prices for photovoltaic systems on single-family houses.
It would be helpful to have transparent prices including system size and price per kWp.

To make comparisons easier, a general indication of the region and any specific conditions (e.g., multi-family house at 10m (33 feet) height, difficult access, etc.) would be useful.
Prices are rising sharply at the moment.
If this thread sparks interest, I would be glad.

I’m sharing a quote from last year. The modules are already installed by now. Final installation and connection will be completed by early August.

13.26 kWp. Bungalow in Brandenburg (near Potsdam). Both roof sides fully covered, all black including the frames, power optimizers. The scaffolding was provided by the general contractor.

Price list as a table with quantity details for three solar products: modules, optimizers, inverters.

Quote page No. 2003539 (page 3) with tables of products, quantities, and prices.

Great offer. I think nowadays those are just ideal prices.

Have you already spoken with the tax office? Are you running this 13 kWp system purely as a hobby?
I also have an offer for 12.4 kWp (about €1250/kWp net), but I’m concerned the tax authorities might not recognize it as a hobby.

In the end, this hobby-related issue doesn't make that much of a difference. It's just one less form to fill out with numbers you would have had to calculate anyway.

(But yes – a 12kW system at today’s prices is not "profitable," so hobby status usually shouldn’t be a problem.)

a) Why the concern? (I don’t share it)
b) Why is the hobby status so important? (I don’t find it decisive either)

I’m not a tax expert, but I was told that if it’s not considered a hobby activity, dealing with the tax authorities becomes quite complicated. For about 2,500 kWh more, the effort isn’t worth it.

As mentioned, just a slip confirming that no profit was made anyway. So, it doesn’t incur any taxes.

The entire concept doesn’t make the operator’s work easier, but only that of the tax office.
