Our developer has planned a tile roof with a 7-degree pitch (approximately 12%) – as far as we know, there is only one supplier for this in Germany, and we have concerns because he intends to carry this out with his construction company, which has not been convincing so far. Does anyone here have experience with this?

Regarding the "unconvincing construction company" – is the owner Fleischer? – you should share more about that (however, a tiled roof with a 7° pitch is already a decent start). Until now, the only bad jokes I knew usually start with "a man goes to the doctor ..." *LOL*

So, I waited a day because I couldn’t contribute any experience with flat tile roofs. Since there doesn’t seem to be much feedback, I’ll go ahead and share my thoughts:

Is there an option to switch to metal roofing? Anyone can do it, it’s watertight, and the photovoltaic panels, which will have to be installed sooner or later anyway, can simply be screwed on. This saves costs twice and remains watertight for a very long time.

"Heilig's Blechle!" I wish I had known this tip 1.5 years ago.

And me, six years ago... But hey – sooner or later, a roof that needs replacing will turn up somewhere! Definitely! ;-)

Yes, a carport and a shed. Let's see if they can be done this year...
