I’m curious to know what you first set in motion/noted/purchased/organized once it was clear in which month you could move into your new house.
So far, I have noted:
------------------------------
- Buy a mailbox
- Order trash bins
- Buy a twin-drum composter
(- Cancel rental apartment lease, only once the move-in date is fixed)

My wife does not want a compost heap on the property. What other alternatives are there for this? The city’s organic waste bin? Or is that not available where you live?M

WilderSueden28 Mar 2022 11:37There is not only the option of an open pile or plastic bins but also some really nice ones you can build yourself. In a book, there was a compost bin made of clinker bricks (of course constructed with large holes to allow airflow). If you add a nice lid on top, you hardly recognize it as a compost bin anymore.

yep, you mean the green bin, yes that exists. But we would prefer to process our waste ourselves. That's why we want a composter. Just not sure which one?At the time, we decided on this model:P

We still have something like that on our list. I just haven’t found one in the right size yet...
My wife doesn’t want a compost heap on the property, so what other options are there? What size do you think you need?
I still need to do some calculations, but I’m probably thinking of two side by side. I generally prefer more compartments rather than fewer.
