Good evening everyone,
We have fallen in love with the floor plan of a concrete house supplier who has a show home park in Kaarst. We have already visited the house several times 😎. The floor plan is attached.
Here are the changes we would like to make:
- Mirror the kitchen to the opposite side of the living room
- Do not recess the front door
- Build up a wall between the bathtub and the door for seating or as a shelf
- Possibly a larger bathtub
The planned exterior dimensions are 10.5 m x 10.5 m (34 ft 5 in x 34 ft 5 in).
What do you think of the floor plan / any suggestions for improvement?
Best regards
Ingo

I can’t read the room next to the wardrobe...

The walk-in closet is wasted space; you can fit just as much in a large 3m (10 ft) wardrobe. And if you have even more clothes, maybe it’s time to declutter 🙂 Well, that’s definitely the best joke of the day! I’d like to ask the ladies here to agree: a 3m (10 ft) wardrobe should be enough – ha! I’m not laughing, and on top of that, declutter? Hello??? 😉B
Bauexperte9 Jan 2014 15:43Hello,
Again – have you asked the red competitors (lately their new managing director joins almost every meeting; brace yourself 😉) what additional costs your requested changes would involve? Or are you planning to “borrow” their design?

- the house will have an attic
flamingo schrieb:Before you visit the competitor in red, you will pass by Hxxma; the townhouse my previous poster is referring to is called "Wiesbaden." However, in my opinion, it’s not comparable to the design from the red competitors; due to the staircase layout, it has a completely different character and plenty of open space above the entrance area.
Where can I find the floor plan for the mentioned house with the mixed facade?

Well, that’s probably the best joke today! I’d like to ask the ladies in the group to agree: a 3m (10 feet) wardrobe is supposed to be enough – ha! I can’t stop laughing, and then having to sort everything out too! Hello??? 😉

I notice several things that seem odd to me, even without exact measurements.
Der Da schrieb:Storage room 1.47 sq m (16 sq ft)
The pantry is pointless because it is too narrow.
Der Da schrieb:From around EUR 304,000 (excluding some small amounts) based on gross floor area; according to BB
In addition, the cost question always arises.

Hello Yvonne,
The upper section is called “bags,” the lower one “shoes” – with the antechamber “wardrobe” approx. 4.40 m (14.4 ft) for everyday clothes.
Regards, BauexperteWow! Great – I want that too – I’ll get it as well. Thanks!
Hmm, now I also know whose house this is. The company with the surcharges...
What does the starting price of 304,000 refer to? Does that already include KfW 55 or 70 standard? With all the extras?
Or do you still have to book underfloor heating and controlled ventilation separately?
@flamingo, this house isn’t meant to be positioned at an angle. Also, you should be aware that you want the interior to be nice and exclusive as well, which means: installing a standard bathroom or a basic kitchen here would be a mistake. Is this included in your budget? Will you be able to cover the costs of the expensive fittings?
While we are currently building a walk-in closet in our modest shed roof house made of Malm and Ivar, for Jette it should already be the proper built-in version. Otherwise, it will look great outside but disappointing inside.
What do you particularly like about this house that you’re not considering any others?
