ᐅ Heating system ignores room thermostat – how to adjust?

The heating system in the apartment we are renting does not respond to the thermostats in any of the rooms. There is underfloor heating everywhere. All thermostats are set below 20°C (68°F), but the temperature measures around 24°C (75°F).

Unfortunately, we only have access to one control box (see photos). Can anything be adjusted there? I have no idea. The white rotary knobs have a notch on the side facing away from the viewer. They are all set to the same position. I also don’t know if anything can be done at the meter.

Are the pipes warm? Could the extra heat be coming from sunlight exposure?
You cannot and should not make any changes to the heat meter. It is needed for billing purposes.
The white parts are the valves that open and close the individual heating circuits. Some valves have an indicator showing how far they are open.
The components at the lower section are the flow indicators. These can sometimes get stuck. In the picture, it looks like there is flow.
If you turn these clockwise, the flow will decrease and it will get cooler. Do this gradually and wait about 2 days. Underfloor heating responds slowly.

Thank you for the advice. The pipes are warm, so I will carefully turn the white knobs.
The blue labeling is based on the cardinal directions. Is this common? The first label reads "WK," the second one "Warmwasser" (if I’m reading that correctly). The hot water was turned down slightly more than the others.

Write down in advance how many liters it was.

Not the white ones! But the ones with the sight glass.

Those who can read clearly have an advantage :-) Most of the sight glass indicators were set to 2 liters, only one was set to 3 (second from the right). And on one (furthest right) nothing was visible at all. I have now turned all the red knobs except the one on the far right half a turn clockwise. Looking forward to seeing what happens 😎
