Good morning,

I have put together a small list of extras and would appreciate any additional ideas you might have.

- In the ground floor living, dining, and kitchen areas, the electric switches should be controlled individually and connected in a “series circuit” to dim the lights.

- Controlled decentralized ventilation system with heat recovery.

- Preparation for photovoltaic system on the roof; missing on the garage roof.

- Two outdoor sockets on the ground floor.

- One outdoor connection for a light with motion sensor and switch on each side of the house.

- Three-phase power in the basement.

- Fireplace for a wood stove.

- Power supply in the garage.

- In the attic living, dining, and kitchen areas, leave the ceiling open up to the roof.

- Sliding doors with approximately 1.5 meters (5 feet) opening between the dining/living area and the hallway.

Thank you for your help.

Better to have a weather station that is directly connected to the home automation system. This way, the data can also be integrated into heating control, shutter or blind automation, and garden irrigation.

What was the total cost of the weather protection measures approximately?

That quickly becomes too complicated. Men tend to expand and automate technology to extremes. My father recently retired, and none of his colleagues can understand the complex system he developed. It’s no better at home with my mother – when he’s not around, she’s completely lost. This is a real problem with this obsession for smart home technology.

If home automation is properly implemented, it can be operated by anyone once it has been programmed.

LOL, that was the best joke today. Men are so adorable when it comes to their gadgets. But when it comes to using the washing machine, they usually struggle.

There are totally different reasons for that. Once you do it, you always do it. (I speak from experience D: )
And after the exhausting dinosaur hunt, we can’t be expected to take on that too... hehe
