Hello everyone,
The time is slowly coming when it’s possible to clean the driveway and the terrace.
I’m already thinking about a pressure washer, but which one would be suitable?
It’s clear that Kärcher is the market leader and very good quality.

What alternatives do you have and would recommend?

Yeast? I’m not familiar with that yet.
Fresh or dry?

I know baking soda or soft soap.

Works great!
Otherwise, a cheap device from Lidl & Co. is usually sufficient.

Yes, that's the trick: if they run cooler, even budget devices last longer ;-)

Our pavers strongly advised against using a high-pressure cleaner. They said it damages the surface of the concrete pavers, causing them to get dirty even faster.

But apart from baking soda/soap/yeast and scrubbing manually with a brush, are there any other options? Probably not?
Is the mechanical stress from scrubbing really gentler on the stones than a pressure washer? I can't quite imagine that.

If it’s only about green algae, Mellerud applied with a pressure sprayer helps.

With a motorized brush, it also works for larger surfaces or dry ice blasting…

Scrubbing is good for muscles and metabolism, and when done quickly, it can replace cardiovascular exercise.
