ᐅ Photos of your attractive ceiling lighting with a ceiling height of approximately 2.47 meters (about 8 feet 1 inch)

I would appreciate it if you could share photos of your ceiling lighting or suggestions here. We are currently planning to install many LED spotlights in or on the ceiling (supported by floor and table lamps), but I am looking for alternatives. So far, I think we will have to forego hanging ceiling lamps because our floor-to-ceiling height is only about 2.47 meters (8 feet 1 inch) net (Hobbit house ;-) ) or similar.

For financial reasons, we have not hired a lighting designer.

What a curious question…

It would be easier if you asked about all ceiling lights that cannot be installed with a ceiling height of 2.47 m (8 ft 1 in).

In fact, the question would be effectively answered without any response at all.

I have the “spots that I don’t like” as well…
May I ask how tall you are, @Pinkiponk? I think you might be worrying about issues that aren’t really there.

These are usually only above the dining table at most.
All other ceiling lights stick out by no more than 10cm (4 inches). At least in our case.

Wait, there’s also one of those “balls on a cord” hanging in the stairwell.

You don't really need one, even if you do have money—unless you’re building a 400–500 m² (4,300–5,400 sq ft) luxury villa.

I gave a lot of thought to the lighting as well – but I honestly wouldn’t have considered that our ceiling might be too low for pendant lamps.

Attached are a few photos; I’m quite satisfied overall, aside from some minor details.
