The more you ask, the more misleading statements you will get.
I would strongly emphasize again: not everything that looks like poor workmanship actually is. You should also consider your choice of words carefully (shoddy workmanship, construction stop…), and not automatically hire a building inspector for the entire duration of the construction out of excessive fear!
It might also help to read up a bit before starting, for example over the holidays, to gain some knowledge about the upcoming house construction instead of questioning everything. As mentioned before: this is a structural shell, not the assembly of a clockwork.
Otherwise, you both might suffer several heart attacks during your house build 😉

We have already discussed bringing in a building surveyor; definitely a sensible addition.

Regarding solid construction, the site only says that it is something really great but unfortunately provides no detailed description of construction services or concrete photo references. At least they appear to be a medium-sized company with a manageable business scale. I can’t give them a clear “B” grade, but despite the somewhat questionable company name that fits more of a shady risk-taker, the company gives me a solid, down-to-earth impression.

Thank you for your assessment! We already have very detailed information available, and I’m happy to share our experiences. I could, for example, post the scope of work description here in the forum. So far, I’ve only found unanswered inquiries here, but I’ll do my best to provide some additional information.

Personally, I find it more convenient to read it than receiving a PDF by email (I’m also 11ant on gmx de), whereas image files are generally easier to view here in the forum, especially for mobile users.
