In our house, the very large Ligno Trend ceiling appears visually calm. It is possible that the geometry of the rebuilt section turned out somewhat less favorable by chance. Occasionally holding a slightly wider board against it to see the effect may help. Trial and error leads to experience and will likely result in an affordable and effective solution.

I might consider screwing on smaller wooden squares in groups of three to break up the pattern, possibly in color. I can’t imagine that would completely eliminate the acoustic effect.

This would visually direct the eye to something else.

In our office meeting rooms, we have a perforated pattern on the wall. It’s just as distracting. Guests always have to sit on the other side…

How about covering the whole thing with fabric or textile? Just last week, I had acoustic absorbers with textile covering in my hands. I like those pieces.

The door definitely looks stylish.

Thanks! In reality, it actually looks terrible because everything flickers right in front of your eyes. 😱

I’m leaning towards fabric that I can hang in front of it. Now I’m thinking about the best way to attach the fabric. If anyone has a good idea for that, I’d appreciate it. 🙂 I’d prefer not to take the door off for this. I’m looking for a simple solution.

We also have hundreds of square meters of Lignotrend in our house. @hampshire has already given you some good advice.
With Ligno, we don’t experience any "flickering" at all.
