ᐅ Window sill height 130 cm in the bedroom / home office?

To me, a house looks best with a modern and, above all, timeless design. Color accents can help enhance this. Skilled painters and architects have an eye for that; all I can say is whether I like it or not. The house in the picture doesn’t look welcoming to me.

Does this apply to both versions with the different parapet heights?

Do not base the window design on the color accents, but rather on what you want to see from the inside, whether standing, sitting, or lying down. When I play on the floor with children, I also like having a view outside. At the same time, views into the bedroom should not be at eye level or lower. We addressed this with floor-to-ceiling windows and venetian blinds.

I already did: get rid of the hassle with the front and rear setbacks—especially where they differ between the ground floor and the upper floor—and the corner windows (what on earth does the IBS need those for in the shower and toilet?). Then wipe away the “Smokey Eyes.” That clears the way for step 2: design from the inside out. Just sleep on it for a night, as I boldly claim Confucius once said, “Less design is more creation” (though it could have been Gropius or LC, or none of the three—as long as it’s true). Drop the attitude, and then aesthetics can breathe!

@11ant By setbacks, you mean the ones at the corner windows, right? Oh well, whatever, I’m completely confused today... but I also doubt it will be any different tomorrow... and I really don’t have time to redesign anymore—I actually wanted to approve the whole thing by the end of the week.
