Hello,

by now there are quite a few different household appliances for cleaning floors, such as robotic mops, electric wet mops, and steam cleaners. Do you use any of these, or do you simply use a bucket with a mop?

Best regards,

Our place is looking worse and worse these days, thanks to the little one. Since child number two is arriving soon, it’s likely to get worse rather than better.

We have only tiles, except on the stairs.

For daily cleaning, we use the Dreame V9 Pro and a Xiaomi robot vacuum (though less often since we got the Dreame).

We probably should mop much more often than we actually do, so I’m considering a vacuum mop.

Some people seem disappointed with the Crosswave. But not with Tineco? Which model would you recommend? At a glance, I’d probably lean toward the S3, although the S5 gets closer to edges but costs about 200€ more.

How is cleaning and maintenance with the Tineco devices? Is it complicated? Does the self-cleaning function really work well, or is it mostly marketing?

Thanks! 🙂

I used to vacuum every few days and mop once a month.
Now, with a family, I feel like Sisyphus.
Sometimes I think it would be easiest to just smear everything with dog liverwurst and let the poodle take care of it all.

I have the Tineco S3, which does a pretty good job mopping. I specifically got it for the parquet floors because the S3 doesn’t leave the floor too wet. The self-cleaning feature is decent, but I would still manually clean it afterward (at least occasionally). The dirt tank needs to be cleaned after every mopping session, otherwise it gets pretty gross.

Here’s how I do it: the vacuum robot (Neato, there’s nothing better – Vorwerk bought the company and integrated the technology into their robots) goes first, and the mop follows behind.

My routine is always: the vacuum robot (Neato, nothing better—Vorwerk acquired the company and integrated their technology into their robots) goes first, then the mop follows.

We also need to decide which vacuum-mop robot to use. Has anyone had experience with this one:

Thanks for your feedback. How much cleaning effort would you estimate after using the device? How long does it take?
