ᐅ Looking for Construction Companies in the Westerwald Region, Around Westerburg and Hachenburg

Good morning everyone,

We discussed our house construction with Massivhaus Mittelrhein here in the forum back in 2016.
Now, for family reasons, we are planning a fresh start in the Westerwald region, near Westerburg / Hachenburg. Since the forum search didn’t really help, I’m just going to ask here. Does anyone know of good building companies (either masonry or prefabricated) in this area? We want to build a turnkey bungalow of about 130 m² (1,400 sq ft) on a slab foundation. Our budget, excluding land, is approximately €300,000 to €350,000.
Massivhaus Mittelrhein is no longer an option for us.

Oh! – I remember reading about your bad luck back then – which I wouldn’t consider typical for that builder – even though that was already your third project. So now the fourth, and you’re not tied to any specific building method. Off the top of my head, I’d suggest Econ (solid construction company in Dernbach near Dierdorf) or Fingerhut (prefabricated house manufacturer in Neunkhausen), Stüber (if I remember correctly, formerly in Siebenmorgen, but apparently relocated to Bavaria – strangely still with the Waldbreitbach area code), and if you want something more upscale, Huf in Hartenfels. Or you can try asking Baulotse-Hoffmann, they are also from the region.

Thank you for your tips. I will take a look at those companies. Yes, I think we just got a "Monday house" / a "Monday site manager" with MHM – whatever that means.

I actually have a good impression of them, but I’ve also thought once, “Good grief, where did they find that regional representative?” (But house salespeople should always be taken with a grain of salt).

I think Nordhaus could also deliver. Although they are not located in the Westerwald, they have a service radius of about 200 km (125 miles), if I remember correctly.

Oh yes, Nordhaus is definitely someone I want to get to know better at the next opportunity. I appreciate medium-sized companies with a clear focus (including the decision not to become a global market leader). And the Eifel region is basically just the Westerwald on the other side of the Rhine ;-)
