Another long-standing project is finally finished. Using the wood from six slatted bed bases (each with 23 beech slats), 18 threaded rods, over 400 spacer sleeves, and plenty of hard work, we built a stylish radiator cover. The first picture shows my design using Sweet Home 3D… the others show before and after.

Dear Steffi, you did a great job. But what I admire even more is your line of sight through the entire house (even though I always criticized the long corridor 😉) Do you have a photo for me from the entrance looking through? Like the opposite view of the other one? I’m curious 🙂

Did you also consider doing the whole thing with rhombus cladding boards as an alternative?

@11ant … No… the beautiful beech trim was simply the best choice in terms of appearance, quality, and price.
