My partner and I would like to buy a solid wood kitchen made of beech, wild beech, or oak.
However, we are a bit unsure about which type of flooring to choose for the open-plan kitchen.
Would parquet flooring combined with a solid wood kitchen be too much wood?
If parquet is not recommended as flooring, what would you suggest?

From your perspective, are the pictures examples of suitable designs, unsuitable, or both?
For me, only the second one really fits. In the past, people used to say: green and blue make the pig look beautiful...
These pictures probably represent the early days of an era in 10 years’ time, when you have to take what’s available on the market due to restrictions on deforestation 😉
