Thanks, humi... I only really noticed the 2.93
But I wouldn’t have been surprised because of everything else either

@erfurter110287: everyone here tells you the same thing... but if you specifically plan a spot in your living area for a foldable dryer, so your living space nicely humidifies from your wet laundry, then go ahead. There’s no point in debating whether that makes sense or not.

and our real estate agent, architect, and entire family all say the same about the laundry drying topic.

sorry ypg

Do you still live with your parents who do the laundry for you (no offense) – or why don’t you see the problem?

Here, I’m not talking about drying, but about the handling itself: putting down the laundry basket, having some elbow room, space for detergent and such, sorting laundry or temporarily storing it to fill a machine, soaking stains, and so on...

You don’t need to apologize. Those who profit from you won’t apologize to you either.

On the ground floor, we have 4(!) square meters (43 sq ft) more living space, a large open kitchen, a 40 square meter (430 sq ft) living-dining area, a guest bathroom with a shower, and a 12(!) square meter (130 sq ft) utility room.

Upstairs, we have more space than you (ok, because of a higher knee wall of 1.80m (5 ft 11 in)), but here we have fitted in four bedrooms (three children's rooms and one master bedroom) and a bathroom. All rooms range from 12.5 to 17.8 square meters (135 to 192 sq ft).

Our attic is no taller than yours, but we simply have a lot more space in the lower utility room.

Your architect should be able to come up with a design that still offers spacious living while providing enough room.

Floor plan: Open living/dining area with sofa, dining table; kitchen; bathroom; stairs; utility room.

Floor plan of a house: terrace, living/dining, kitchen, hallway, bathroom, utility room, stairs.
