… is (not) known by everyone 😉
Why non-gourmets should watch this: because of the houses, apartments, interior design, kitchen, workflow, etc.
Today:
new, nice individual details, unfortunately quite a cold atmosphere because all surfaces appear smooth. No wood, hardly any fabric. But great pictures on the walls 🙂
Overall, I find that improvised furnishings are simply more comfortable and cozy.
And you?

I claim (having experienced myself the effort involved in a TV production) that beforehand they carefully check where there is still a need for improvements to achieve the “perfect” look before filming begins. The apartments probably look quite different in everyday life.
Of course, that doesn’t change the fact that it can look stylish and provide inspiration.

Of course, that doesn’t change the fact that it can look stylish and serve as inspiration. I agree with you about crime drama filming. As a former extra and location provider, I know a bit about it.
But here, it’s almost authentic. (I also once knew a “chef” from our region.)
Because of backlighting, the windows are shaded, a few trip hazards for the two camera operators are cleared away, if desired, personal photos and music are removed as well. Otherwise, there’s no fuss made around it.
So: enjoy and take note of the details 🙂 (even if it’s just the distance between the kitchen island and the refrigerator 😉)
I haven’t watched The Perfect Dinner for a while… but I often watch HGTV 😉 … Preferably "Sweet Home Chicago," "The House Stylists," "Flipping in Idaho," and also "My Small Town Dream House"… some great kitchens, usually with the cooktop against the wall and impressive range hood solutions, where powerful ceiling-mounted hoods can ideally be integrated, plus great sinks and prep islands. Quite different from today’s trendy preferences for Bora systems, cooktop islands, and sinks placed somewhere else 😉.

And what about you? Ah, you mean the one today with the huge house … I just watched that too
Amazing houses, we can all guess how much that cost. And then she cooks well too.
Great to watch and perfect to look at, but if I had to choose, I would prefer a Magnolia house, just with a different bathroom (-:
