Hello dear forum community,

We are also about to make our dream of a lifetime come true.
The plot of land is already secured, and now we are looking for someone who can bring our ideas to life. Since we would like the walls of our townhouse to be made of POROTON, we keep noticing that in the northern regions, construction is often done with aerated concrete blocks (e.g., Ytong).
Now we are looking for builders who work with POROTON and are still located in the north – which is why I am reaching out to this forum, as it is very difficult to find out how companies actually build.
IN SHORT: Who builds with POROTON in the north and can provide us with a contact?
Thank you very much in advance,
Chrischan

170 km (106 miles) is not a long distance, and I am not a construction company.

What are you making such a fuss about? The fact is, only very few building companies in Schleswig-Holstein use Poroton. I don’t know the reason, but it hardly bothers anyone. As far as I can remember, unfinished buildings have always been white.

I'm writing more like a book, but that's not really the point and no one denies that. I just picked the next project because it might help the original poster...

Hanover is equally far away.
And the next interim storage site would be Sittensen, so only half as far.
You have problems...
What matters is WHICH builder uses the bricks, not constructing something indirectly that no builder who works with bricks would care about.

Has anyone ever considered building with sand-lime bricks?

If a gas station offers LPG, there are usually vehicles nearby that run on it. The difference is that a factory or even a warehouse always has direct contact with its customers.

That’s my point. They may be hard to find, but they must exist; otherwise, Wienerberger wouldn’t maintain a factory or warehouse nearby. They don’t do that for fun.
