Hello everyone,
Since our prefabricated house’s attic has been finished up to the joists (with fiberglass insulation between them) and I would like to use it as storage space, I now need to install a floor.
As the attic cannot be used as living space according to the building plan / planning permission and it would also be too small for that, I want to do this as cost-effectively as possible.
Since the chimney sweep needs to access the chimney via this area, I would cover the floor with OSB panels or chipboard.
Now my question is, which option is the most affordable here (especially considering current prices).
Thanks for your feedback and best regards
Zenjamino

It was just a question of whether the area would be beneficial for him.

In the end, you can also use rough-sawn boards, second choice or lower quality... usually under €10.-.
I have just laid my leftover OSB panels in the attic to create a "path," cost zero since they were leftovers.
Anything is better than nothing as long as it doesn’t break through.

It was just a question of whether the area benefits him. An open mention here would probably be neutral or positive (otherwise subject to moderation) and thus acceptable. However, between Baden-Württemberg and Brandenburg, you would probably need several hectares of the panels for the trip to be worthwhile ;-)

I’m interested! Near Templin, you can also visit a Western show.Timber trade Templin - Kiefern Bohm GmbH & Co. KG. If you visit their website, go to the timber trade section, where you will find the address from which I’m picking up the material today. I don’t know the prices they offer directly.
I found it through e.ay Kleinanzeigen by searching for tongue and groove boards in the corresponding area.
