ᐅ Is it possible to build a panoramic fireplace for under €6,000?

Hello,
I recently visited a local fireplace installer to get advice and initial rough pricing for our new build project. I was quite shocked when he said that the smallest panoramic fireplace would cost over €10,000 (about $11,000).

So my question to you: Does anyone know of a good and affordable manufacturer of so-called panoramic fireplaces? Kits are also welcome since the budget, as mentioned, is quite far from the initial offer :/

For those interested, the quote was from Hark.
We are not looking for a fireplace with water heating or other fancy features. It should simply be an "ambient fireplace," so heating capacity and similar factors are not important.

Thanks in advance!

The pipes can also be connected at the back. Then you only see about 10 cm (4 inches) of the pipe from the rear, and even then only from the side. But the statement is quite original: "There should be a chimney, but without any visible pipe, please," considering it is a very important component. A chimney without a pipe is not possible 😉

This was probably more about the flue pipe 😉.

Do I have to understand you? Your last sentence is very confusing. You show a chimney without a visible pipe and claim that it’s not possible. Confusing.

I have nothing against visible pipes, but the one shown here would bother me because it’s not exactly discreet.

You mean the stainless steel chimney? Oh, I didn’t even notice that on the phone picture. To me, the pipe is the connecting piece 🙂

And one more tip. If you are already short on funds for the fireplace, take it out. You will probably need the additional $6,000 for other things 😎

There was never any mention of a "lack of funds"! Since, as described, it is supposed to be a decorative or bad-weather fireplace that only adds some ambiance, I simply am not willing to invest $10,000 for it.

I’m not willing to invest 150k in a Porsche either, but I still want to have one.
If you want luxury, you have to pay the prices for it...

Just try an international alternative and share your experience. You don’t have any other options!

No, that’s not correct! It’s also possible without the “foreign version.” After some research, I came across the Spartherm Artemis and Ares models, which both fit within the budget (maybe about 1,000 above depending on the store).

Although these are no longer sold by Spartherm as they are "old" models and the new ones are expected early next year, that doesn’t change the situation. Online shops still sell them. Since these are wood-burning stoves, assembling them yourself is manageable.
