Based on my online research and conversations with demolition companies, I am still not really sure: Is it allowed to remove asbestos roofing tiles yourself and dispose of them properly? Of course, compliance with safety regulations (mask, asbestos bags, protective suit) is a prerequisite.
Does anyone here have experience with this?

In theory, private individuals are allowed to dispose of bonded asbestos themselves, such as in roof panels.
The persons must be knowledgeable – whether a YouTube tutorial is sufficient is questionable.
Required personal protective equipment
Necessary tools. The battens underneath must be vacuumed, if I remember correctly. This cannot be done with a standard household vacuum cleaner.
Required packaging
In practice
Site safety, fall protection, lifting equipment, people without fear of heights and with the necessary expertise
Transport and handling of the big bags
We handed it over to a professional company. Compared to other items, this was affordable, fast, and efficient.
Just the question of how to get the big bags to the disposal site? We had 6 of them.

They even send their workers to a two-day training course to obtain the “asbestos certificate.” Although the person just stands there doing little, the main point is that they can present the certificate if there is an inspection. But maybe these companies say that just to secure the asbestos removal contract…
To my knowledge, yes, but you need to be knowledgeable, even as a private individual. That’s why I said YouTube won’t be enough.
If you are knowledgeable, you should know whether you are allowed to do it or not.
It is inspected, and residents tend to report it.
Have it done by a professional. Why do you want to do it yourself?
