Hello,
we have purchased a newly built semi-detached house with 150 sqm (1,615 sq ft).
I wanted to ask which furniture stores in NRW you would recommend for us.
We want to renew or buy new furniture for the entire interior.
Which furniture stores can you recommend?
The furniture should meet the following criteria:
- good quality, "high-end"
- aesthetically pleasing
- durable
- easy to assemble (no drilling, just screwing together)
- prices should be affordable for an average budget
So, nothing cheap like Poco or Roller, but also not extremely expensive.

Here are two pictures that show roughly what we are looking for.
We are simply searching for modern, timeless furniture in white with wood accents.
Is there perhaps an online store or a furniture retailer’s online shop that combines all well-known and relevant furniture brands?
Then we can check which pieces we like.
We want the living room and dining area furniture, for example, all from the same product line and design series to keep it consistent.

Many manufacturers do not meet your requirements, because not every manufacturer produces full design lines as you wish. I would start with Hülsta and Musterring, and if the price becomes tight, ask locally about options one tier below.
Pwnage619 schrieb:From my recommendations, only Knuffmann in Neuss and Sijben in Roermond remain. The other stores I mentioned are too diverse and do not have a uniform living room collection from a single manufacturer on display, so the value of a consultation for a coordinated arrangement would be low for you. You can basically visit any furniture store that arranges furniture in "rooms."

Pwnage61910 Sep 2021 09:54I wanted to have an online shop where all relevant manufacturers are available.
Then we can see which manufacturers are interesting and specifically look for these products in furniture stores to get an impression of their quality.
This way, we have a wide selection of furniture pieces and can ultimately narrow it down to a few options and then view them in person.

Also, take a look at furniture from Hartmann, such as the Caya and Vara series. They are top quality and are manufactured locally in solid construction. You can find them in many large furniture stores as well as directly from the manufacturer in Beelen near Münster or through their online shop.

We are simply lookingIs "simply" a general word for difficult in your case? As @nordanney and many others have said before: visit furniture stores, look around, try things out, and choose. You will be able to assess the quality for yourself.
To be honest, if I were in your or your wife's position, I would have already checked out all the stores...
You can't choose furniture in a forum 😉
