Hello everyone,
we are about to start building soon. We were initially considering solid construction using sand-lime brick or Poroton blocks. Now we have received an offer for a timber frame house. We hadn’t really looked into this before but are open to the idea. The system proposed is from GreMagor, a company from Poland.
We couldn’t find any reviews or experiences online, so my question to the group is: Has anyone dealt with this system before? Have you chosen it or decided against it, and if so, why?
Thank you!

With timber frame construction? That is a common building method.
Or with GreMagor? What is so special about it – do you want to build the system yourselves?

Oh, then switching to a wood frame house is quite a big step.

That seems to be a strange mix of local and American building techniques. I share the question. From my first impression, the system is a typical example of “so ingenious that only the inventor understands it” – technically speaking, of course. After all, it’s not usual for a Polish manufacturer to provide documentation in German, even down to the captions.

An offer for a house might be worth considering – but an offer for a kit, probably not. What does @Tom1978 say about this, since he is familiar with Polish houses but has a German contractor build a masonry house?

No, we don’t want to build it ourselves but have it fully constructed by a partner company. So far, we have not looked into timber houses at all, so we have no comparisons of suppliers or systems, and apart from the company itself, there is no information available about the system. It was specifically offered to us as an alternative—building with the GreMagor system.

Then it is also "just" a house, but built using a different system. At first glance, it doesn’t look wrong (although I am not familiar with the system). However, it is completely different from solid construction.

I am a developer and familiar with the system. It offers many advantages and is internationally recognized. It is used by many companies, although they do not heavily advertise it. Hardly any carpentry firm, including myself when building a house, mentions it. I also do not promote the fact that I use Steico I-beams, similar to GreMagor. This company is a leader in timber construction solutions. If someone wants a house built that is both affordable and of high quality, I am happy to provide advice.
