Hello,
we are considering which shower shelf would be practical for shampoo and similar items in a new build.
A shower niche is not possible (it would reduce the shower floor space and make the shower too small for us).
These shower baskets keep falling off ://
What alternatives are there for new builds that are also durable and visually appealing?
It should definitely be something sturdy and resistant, capable of holding a few kilograms.

I really have to marvel at how some original posters spread an opera’s worth of chatter over dozens of posts when a single picture would have explained everything. Well! He’s not asking, "Help, I don’t know how to create a hidden shelf in the shower," but rather for good alternative storage options.
I’m always surprised how a post can be so distorted through multiple replies that later people end up blaming the original poster.

I think we’ll choose an option that tiles into the corners. I would consider a corner solution, but usually corner designs don’t look as neat as straight-lined ones.

I am always surprised how a post about contributions gets distorted to the point where people later blame the original poster. A shower is usually enclosed by only three walls. There is no need for a step-by-step explanation about the construction and dimensions of these walls; a single section from the floor plan is enough for everyone to understand. No one has distorted anything here; I did actually point out the correct person to blame.

Maybe your corner is one of the exceptions because it’s nicely designed. You might want to post a picture as proof, just so no unwanted controversy arises here 😉

No one has distorted anything here, I have only addressed the right person with criticism.Regarding the question about a shelf that is not built into the wall, the walls are not relevant. Only your desire to possibly find a more general solution would make this necessary.Tolentino schrieb:

Of course, you can also build a niche into a wall (11.5cm (4.5 inches)?) next to the stairwell.
...That's how it had to be done for us.Similar topics
