Are you talking about vanilla ice cream? Sugar helps.

Every year again 😀 right? Here, it's been around 12°C (54°F) continuously. I'm quite surprised that my heating system is still off and it’s still 21°C (70°F) indoors.

But I think it will turn on soon if it doesn’t get any warmer.

I checked the heating energy consumption during the summer. It uses about 3 kWh daily for standby and hot water. I’m not sure if that’s efficient, but it adds up to around 90 kWh per month, which costs about 25 euros.

I typically use around 1 to 1.2 kWh per day – usually one shower a day, occasionally more than one. Now I can finally join the conversation after the heat pump has been running for some time.

Hi, it seems we’re "fellow sufferers" when it comes to the heat pump. Here, I have already manually run the underfloor heating a few times in May, June! and also now in August during the day, after heating up the hot water and the battery was full. Rather than almost giving the electricity away to the utility company…
