Hello everyone,
I am looking for some constructive solutions for a canopy at the entrance area.
On the right side, we have a small bay window that projects about 1.20m (4 feet) out, then the entrance area, and then the garage, which is roughly at the same level as the bay window.
The gap between the bay window and the garage (about 6 meters (20 feet)) should be covered, as shown in the example photo.
I am now searching for suggestions on how to construct this canopy between the bay window and the garage.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Example photo. (here, the garage is not at the same level as the bay window as in my case)

The canopy as planned. See attachment:
Preferably designed so that no transitions are "visible."

Alternatively, the garage and canopy in a different colorWhat about the garage height? As far as I know, it may be a maximum of 3 meters (10 feet) high?
The garage/canopy/recess are planned in anthracite. The rest in a gray/beige color.
Something like this in style.
And ultimately, this is how it should look. I mean the colors now.

hanghaus20002 Jul 2021 14:42The height of the garage will remain 3 meters (10 feet). Only the front wall will be slightly higher. If you have any concerns, check with the building authority / planning office to see if that is allowed.
When I look at the design, my first suggestion doesn’t seem so bad after all. Widen it to 1.5 meters (5 feet), and then it would be perfect.
It would be better if the garage were placed slightly further back and a continuous roof planned to extend in front of the garage as well.
