ᐅ Costs of Photovoltaic Systems with Energy Storage

I’m telling you, it keeps getting better...
I recently requested a quote from another local company.

I provided them with the following information:

- Consumption: 4,800 kWh
- Photos of the roof (bungalow), south-facing, no shading
- I told them that I was considering a 10 kWp system with about a 6.5 kW battery storage, but asked them to advise me if they had a different recommendation based on economic viability.

Their offer:

15 kWp system
12 kW battery storage

Gross price: just under 45,000 euros

That’s not serious!

They can calculate for you why that is more economical.

So roughly 20K too much.
Either they think you're naive or they've included personal pickup of the installation parts in China in the price. The latter are reportedly in severe shortage at the moment and supplies are hardly available....

I think I’m going to give up on the whole photovoltaic project... it’s just frustrating how people try to take advantage of others... just because photovoltaics are "trendy" right now.

Well, giving up so quickly is not really a sensible option.

If there are no reliable local providers available, then at least try the national or regional ones.
It will work out.

Contact Clen Solar. Ask them about it. I have a very good initial impression. Other forum users have also shared positive feedback.
