Hello,
We are currently building a semi-detached house and will install a standard traditional doorbell.
Later, we want to replace it with a smart video doorbell.
Which smart video doorbell would you recommend? It should meet the following criteria:
No cloud storage – all data should remain within my own network.
The doorbell sound should ring as usual on the existing chime, and additionally ring on my phone and my wife's phone (it's enough if this works only when we are connected to Wi-Fi; it does not need to work when we are away).
The doorbell should continue to ring even if there is currently no Wi-Fi connection.
No monthly fees.
What is the legal situation? We probably won't be able to prevent the street from being recorded in the background. Is this a problem or illegal? The recording will only be temporary and only when someone rings the bell.

If you want cloud services...
Otherwise, I quite like 2N. Akuvox is nice, too!

Well, you have to be very resilient to allow the world’s largest monopoly and hundreds of thousands of employees to install cameras and microphones in your home, which can be accessed from outside at any time and at will. But everyone is the architect of their own fortune.
