Hello,

we now have our wooden outdoor sauna. Inside, the electric heater is mounted above the floor. When doing a water pour, the water drips down, and the wooden floor in that area changes color, mainly due to the additives in the water.

Does anyone have an idea of what could be placed in that small area? Maybe a tile or something else? It shouldn’t heat up too much or crack.

Sweaty greetings

Does a shallow wooden tray fit under the stove?

Or just a baking tray? I still need something for that as well.

That’s exactly what I was about to say. When I was searching back then, a baking tray was recommended to me.
Of course, there are also suitable, attractive trays, I think made of aluminum.
Just search for, for example, "Teamfar baking trays" on major online retailers; there are also catch pans from brands like Sentiotec. You can choose whatever you like—the main function is simply to catch water droplets from the floor.
