Hello everyone,

we are currently discussing which color would be best for the exterior window sills. Our windows are quartz gray (RAL 7039). The shutters/blinds are gray aluminum (RAL 9007).

I would try to match the window color as closely as possible (right in the picture) to avoid having too many different colors. My wife prefers the “black” window sill on the left in the picture.
Thanks for sharing your opinions.

Aluminum door frame; two tile samples are placed in front of the entrance.

Hello. This is a matter of personal preference. Both look good, but I would still go for the lighter one on the right in the picture. No intention to step on your wife’s toes :-)) Best regards

Better listen to your wife ... 😎

Personally, I find it hard to imagine the overall look. Intuitively, I would also choose the lighter window sill.

The darker it is, the hotter it gets in summer. If it is accessible to children, learning by pain is inevitable.

Both options look like good choices. The lighter one has more "life," as no one would think that the color was intended but missed. I think I would go with the lighter one.
