Tonight the heating turned on again, and looking at the temperatures for the coming days, it seems the heating will turn on every night. I need to call the electricity provider now and increase the advance payment; otherwise, the year-end bill will be too high.

If you want an indoor temperature of 22 to 23 degrees Celsius (72 to 73°F), the heat pump just has to run for a few hours now and then. And why freeze? There’s not much cooling at night—about 10°C (50°F). Yes, near Stuttgart. Right now, the temperature at night is 7°C (45°F) and 15°C (59°F) during the day. Little to no sun. Basically, the weather is like autumn, similar to October.
