Dear forum,

we are currently planning the construction of our single-family house. Last week, I created an initial draft for the lighting and electrical installation, which I would like to share here for discussion.
Do you think I should reduce the number of recessed ceiling lights? Are the power outlets sufficient? I look forward to your comments!

Recessed ceiling spotlights are a matter of personal taste. For me, that would be too much. A cozy atmosphere comes from additional light sources, which are better to plan from the start; this also makes it clearer where sockets will be needed.

Far too many spotlights for a cozy single-family home.

I took a look at the LAN setup. It seems fine overall, but I would always prefer to install a double socket instead of a single one. What I’m missing are the access points—on the ground floor, upper floor, and terrace? What are your plans for the front door? Also, consider including LAN when preparing for the electric vehicle charging station.

I don’t think the number of recessed lights is the problem (it depends on the type of lights chosen, ceiling height, etc.), although I would prefer more indirect general lighting. The main issue is the lack of the “right” lamps in many rooms, such as the living room, dining area, and children’s rooms...

Semi-offtopic: the plans include your name and address, so you might want to remove them quickly.
