Hello dear forum,
I am still looking for ideas to furnish the utility room. So far, I haven’t really found anything suitable.
I am looking for a large modular cabinet, ideally one that includes a washing machine cabinet, a tall closed cabinet for the vacuum cleaner and similar items, and enough storage space for cleaning supplies, mostly enclosed since this is my main entrance from the garage.
So far, I know that such modular cabinet systems are available from Nobilia and Nolte. But maybe someone has a good recommendation for me?
Best regards and have a great Sunday,

They are from Metallbau Sent. They are anchored in the wall at the back, which makes them bearable. Eventually, I will build a solid platform because, in my opinion, they are not really attractive.Hehe, we have those too... also from there. Ours are not anchored.C

I finished our utility room this weekend. Everything is Metod from Ikea. Our room seems to have almost the same dimensions. How long/wide is your utility room?

Chris25116 May 2021 11:10Ok, it's a bit misleading, our room measures 4.18m x 1.85m (13 ft 9 in x 6 ft 1 in). I already knew it would be tight with two rows.

I had suspected all along that fitting two rows would be tight. Phew, you could consider making one row of countertops shallower (37cm (15 inches) at Ikea), but even then the space in between is quite tight. Alternatively, you could have cabinets on only one side: one half floor-to-ceiling housing appliances (e.g., three units at 60cm (24 inches) each), and the other half with countertop sections (for example, 80cm - 60cm - 80cm (31 in - 24 in - 31 in)).

thoughtless861 Aug 2021 22:00Just a quick update for those who might still be considering the layout for their utility room. In the end, I had a utility room designed through my kitchen studio. For example, Nobilia and Nolte offer a wide variety of combinations; you can customize fronts and countertops, and there are various cabinet systems for tumble dryers as well as laundry chutes and similar features. The possibilities are quite versatile. I also had a sink and a shoe cabinet included in the design. Just a suggestion—I found this solution better than the prefabricated options you usually find elsewhere...
