The attached images are far too small; I can hardly see anything. Is it just me?

Otherwise, please upload them again in LARGE size for people with normal vision.

A very spacious floor plan, overall quite good.
What I don’t like is the entrance area. The hallway is significantly cut into by the corner of the pantry.
This could otherwise be a somewhat representative space, but after opening the front door you have to step left after only a couple of steps, so I would rather reduce the size of the pantry.
The two doors from the garage into the house reduce the overall width of the garage quite a bit over a considerable area.
Consider again whether it would be possible to arrange the doors from the garage and the house next to each other, or in a way that avoids such a loss of space.
The storage or cupboard space in the kitchen is very tight; you won’t manage with that.
I find the layout of the upstairs bathroom unfortunate. When sitting on the toilet, you only face a blank wall.

Perhaps I should also mention that we want to build with a basement.
I think the garage should be large enough then? The recess in the garage was intended so that we can enter the house from the garage without getting wet, and so our guests waiting at the front door won’t be standing in the rain.
In the kitchen, along the wall adjacent to the pantry, the oven, freezer, and refrigerator should be combined into a single triple unit, which means there will still be plenty of storage space in the two kitchen work areas—definitely more than before 🙂 I will reconsider this, though.

Solid plan – I’d say it’s standard. I also don’t find the bathroom layout very appealing, but it should be easy to change. The front door looks so small; how wide is it?

If you like large, impressive entrance halls, that’s a fair point. Since I’m not really a fan of halls like that, I find the offset quite nice. It gives the hallway a bit of “structure.” The hallway should still be big/wide enough here.

Consider again whether the doors between garage and house could be positioned next to each other, or otherwise designed to avoid such loss of space.

The garage is wide enough for two cars; the extension is just an additional shelter for bicycles and such.
I find the shelter (doors) okay, although personally I prefer inviting and visible front doors 😉

At first, I also didn’t see the storage area on the kitchen/laundry room wall. That should be enough, since you can park things right next door... I would pay attention to the countertop though, since you do lose some space to kettle, coffee machine, and other stuff.
Maybe change the door swing to the laundry room?!

I agree with that. But a more detailed bathroom design can be optimized later with this room. Otherwise, a nice mosaic “seek-and-find” tile pattern opposite the toilet—otherwise it gets dull 😉

I always read in the bathroom, so at least I have some peace and quiet ;-)

The front door is 1.10 meters (3 ft 7 in) wide and has sidelights on both the left and right, each about 0.6 meters (2 ft) wide.

Do you think there are enough windows in the living area?

We don’t know the north direction... 😉
